Words cannot describe the excitement I have in getting to dive into the world of Faire’s creative community.

It is going to be a juicy talk with topics like money, mental health, and self-compassion/mindfulness.

Being a sole-entrepreneur in the healing, helping, or creative fields is gritty and not for the faint of heart. 💞

Come sit with us and have a chat! I want to encourage you in creating a sustainable, inside and out, business of your dreams. Let’s get that ☁️💭reverie on! 💫💫💫

If you want to know more, go to @ruthribeaucourt post and follow the information above.

I believe it will be recorded for replay! ✨✨✨

Hi! Come on in, to my little square corner. I wa Hi! Come on in, to my little square corner.

I want to properly introduce myself and my practice.

I’m Holly, a plant lover 🌿, design appreciator, and cultivator of the hidden desires germinating in the hearts of clients.

I work with women and couples who are driven and feel disillusioned looking for joy in their life again. 💫

I am certified in Dr. Brené Brown's Daring Way and Rising Strong, modalities that explore how shame impacts us and the difficulty in vulnerability, and have completed the training in emotionally focused therapy for couples by Dr. Sue Johnson, which looks at the connection in a relationship with goals of being heard and seen by your partner. 🧡

I also hold training in self compassion, a way to help you meet yourself with more kindness, and I am a part of the psychoanalytic community in Kansas City attaining a certification in psychodynamic work, a therapy modality that helps look at the unconscious interpersonal dynamics in all of our lives and relationships.

Phew! Made it this far? 🥳👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Outside of what makes up me as a therapist the most important thing you can know when we work together...get close...I’m going to whisper this one:

I want to know you not fix you😱😳even though you might feel you need fixing.

I want to help pull out the stacks of unwanted stories and forgotten longings that keep bubbling up in your day to day. Because this is were the pain is and the keys to your joy that you have missed preventing you from living fully. It is where we start to unwind the “why” around how things feel for you. Before we can map where you want to go, we also look at where you have been. The order is important because building your life, the way you want is not cheap, easy, or fast.

It takes the pain being loud enough to respond. I think the unique exquisite delightful person you are deserves that response.

Feel ready to respond and want to work together?

“Real isn’t how you are made,” said the Skin “Real isn’t how you are made,” said the Skin Horse. “It’s a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.”

“Does it hurt?” asked the Rabbit.

“Sometimes,” said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. “When you are Real you don’t mind being hurt.”

“Does it happen all at once, like being wound up,” he asked, “or bit by bit?”

“It doesn’t happen all at once,” said the Skin Horse. “You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”

**I love how knitted together in childhood stories lies a message about our longing and humanity. The want to explore what being our true-selves in intimacy can cost, and the desire/need to be seen, heard, and loved.

What does holding your own humanity with kindness look like for you?

My hope is to speak to that in this space.

Collectively and diversely we are holding the pain of the pandemic, the pain of racism and inequality for black lives and the marginalized.

We are coming unraveled but also learning what it means to be really ourselves, stripped and loved down to essence.

The fear in becoming who we are and speaking the truth of who we are is not new but takes on a new form in this era of time.

Join me in unearthing what that means collectively and individually.
